Liz Condrey
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Elizabeth (Liz) Condrey, LCSW (she/her), is a clinical social worker who lives and practices in New York’s Capital Region. She received her masters degree in clinical social work from Smith College School for Social Work. She has been trained in psychodynamic theory and this informs much of her therapy practice. She uses an intersectional feminist framework in her work and is committed to practicing cultural humility and anti-racism in her practice and life. She has over a decade in the social work field and has worked with families, children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. She has a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ folks as well as those who are working through and healing from past trauma. Liz has an eclectic therapy approach and lifts from dialectical behavioral therapy, ego psychology, existential therapy, and person-centered therapy, among other modalities. She understands that beginning therapy (or coming back to it after time away) can be exciting, intimidating, exhausting, and invigorating, and appreciates what it takes to schedule that first session.
In her free time, Liz likes to spend time with her family, go to museums, try new baking recipes, and root for the New York Liberty and the New York Mets.
