Anoushka’s counseling approach is rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also drawing from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Anoushka works through a relational and multicultural lens to meet clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences and cultural identities. She prioritizes building trust and fostering a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space that supports resilience and growth. Anoushka’s practice is guided by intuitive listening, cultural humility, and a strong commitment to equity and access in mental health care. Anoushka is committed to supporting marginalized and underrepresented communities by acknowledging how systemic oppression and structural inequities influence mental health and identity development.
Anoushka is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Syracuse University. Anoushka holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Psychology from Maharashtra Institute of Technology – World Peace University, India. Anoushka’s academic and professional journey reflects a commitment to equity-driven mental health work within different settings.
