Shane Hurley, MHC

(Shane is under the clinical supervision of Timothy Crumley, LMHC, private practice)

Shane recently graduated from the University at Albany with a psychology and sociology double major and a minor in public health. While working towards his undergraduate degrees, Shane also worked in a research lab, gaining hands on experience with individuals. This research focused on correlations between racial identities and experiences with stress and trauma.

While working at CommonSense, Shane will be looking to support clients navigating issues relating to substance use disorders. He will help them navigate through these difficult times and work towards the client’s goals.

In his free time, Shane enjoys playing sports like football and basketball, and played on the men’s club rugby team while in college. He is an avid sports fan and loves spending time with his cat.
